Hosting

This website is provided by NexTao GmbH, Koenigsallee 27, 40212 Duesseldorf, on servers located within the European Union. Data processed when the site is delivered is described in the next section.

Server log files

When you open a page, the server automatically records data that your browser transmits: the page requested, the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, your browser type and version, your operating system and an abbreviated IP address. This data is not merged with other sources. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of this website. Log data is deleted after 7 days at the latest.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies that require consent. No cookie banner is shown because none is legally required for the technically necessary delivery of these pages.

Reach measurement

We measure how often pages are opened using a self-operated, privacy-friendly statistics service running on our own infrastructure within the European Union. It stores no cookies, sets no cross-site identifiers and does not store full IP addresses. The data cannot be used to identify individual visitors. Legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in understanding which articles are read.

Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp

If you contact us, the details you send, including your name and contact data, are stored in order to process your enquiry. We do not pass this data on without your consent. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your data is deleted once your enquiry is settled and no retention obligation prevents deletion. If you contact us via WhatsApp, the messenger service processes connection data under its own terms; please use email if you prefer to avoid this.

External links

Articles on this site link to regulators, standards bodies, record certifiers and manufacturer documentation. Opening such a link transmits data to the operator of that site. We have no influence on their processing, and their privacy notices apply.

Fonts and assets

All fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images are delivered from this website's own domain. No content delivery network of a third party is called, so no data is transmitted to third-party providers when a page loads.

Your rights

You have the right to information about your stored data (Article 15 GDPR), correction (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for us is the state commissioner for data protection of North Rhine-Westphalia.

SSL encryption

This site uses TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address line of your browser switching to "https://" and by the lock symbol.

Status

This privacy policy is current as of 2026-08-06.
